Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr Well, Rophine Field Junior School Nairobi is living the adage “You can only arrive in Kisumu” or as others would want to simply put it, “If you want to travel to Kisumu, you must fly”, when it flew its pupils to Kisumu. To make the field trip successful, the school procured the services of three airlines: Kenya Airways, Fly 540 & Jambojet. It took the celebration to the skies by flying its pupils from Nairobi to Kisumu to and fro for a Western Kenya tour. The Grade 7s and 8s had a memorable experience in a fun-filled educational tour of this beautiful lakeside destination among the many other Truly Amazing! Attractions in the Western Kenya Region. These destinations included a tour of the Kisumu Museum, Kisumu Port, Kakamega Forest, and the Crying Stone in Kakamega County, the Nabongo Mumia Cultural Center in Mumias among many other attractions. A visit to Kakamega Forest A visit to the Crying Stone at Ilesi in Kakamega County To cool themselves off the lakeside heat, the pupils also had to immerse themselves in the waters at Sossa Cottages in Vihiga County. Well, kudos to the school for reminding the kids that the very next time they want to travel to Kisumu, they only need to fly-away here. And a tweet from Jambojet wouldn’t have put it any better than this: 'Teach them while they are young', they said. What better way to expose these young kids, from Rophine Fields Junior School, to the aviation industry, than with a Jambojet flight to their destination? ?✈️?#JambojetHolidays pic.twitter.com/V9G4jaZbRt — Jambojet.com (@FlyJambojet) August 8, 2019 Lastly, its time to go back to Nairobi. Welcome back to Kisumu.
