Kisumu RFC in Pool B for Kakamega Sevens

Kisumu RFC has been grouped in Pool B of the season-opening Kakamega Sevens as the 2019 Stanbic Bank National Sevens Circuit kicks off in Kakamega on 20th July.

The Kakamega Sevens replaces the Sepetuka Sevens which was previously hosted by Menengai Cream Homeboyz in Eldoret in 2017 and 2018.

The Bravehearts, who will host the third leg of the circuit, the Dala Sevens on 10th August at the Mamboleo Showground, finished 18th overall in last year’s circuit
with a total of 7 points after featuring in five of the six tournaments that make up the circuit.

They are with Stanbic Mwamba, Nondescripts and Machine.

Defending circuit champions Menengai Cream Homeboyz headline Pool A where they will duel it out with Resolution Impala Saracens, Menengai Oilers and co-hosts Western Bulls.

Pool C features KCB, co-hosts Kabras Sugar, Kisii and MMUST while Pool D is made up of Top Fry Nakuru, Kenya Harlequin, Strathmore Leos and Egerton Wasps.
