Head Coach Howard Okwemba has named his match day 23 for Saturday May 18, KRU Championship final against Western Bulls at the Kakamega Showground.

This match kicks off at 1.30pm and will be aired live on Bamba Sports

Saturday’s clash is the third meeting between the two sides this season, the first clash between the two sides ending in a 10-10 draw at the Nyangóri High School grounds on Saturday 8 December 2018 before the Bravehearts defeat Bulls 9-8 in Kakamega on Saturday 30 March 2019.

Forwards

Stephen Kidakwa, John Ochieng and Jaycox Mwavali team up in the front row while Ian Odongo and Denver Audo are the day’s second row pairing. Jada Abdon, George Henry and Maurice Osano round off the backrow.

Backs

Erastus Wanyama, Reinhardt Ashioya and Brian Bango are all handed starts against their former club. Wanyama starts at scrum half, part of a half back pairing with Steve Obadiah whose penalty kicked the Bravehearts into the final with that 14-11 sudden death win over the Catholic Monks last weekend in Nairobi. Ashioya and Bango partner in midfield with Buess Nyangina, Boniface Okoth and Alvin Wanjala rounding off the back three.
