
Today, SafariLink becomes the sixth airline to operate in the Kisumu International Airport airspace.

The event was graced by both the Rt Honorable Raila Amolo Odinga, CS Tourism Najib Balala, the CEO Kenya Tourism Board Betty Radier, the Deputy Governor Kisumu County Dr Mathews Owili, among other dignitaries.

This launch exhibits the status of Kisumu as a favorable business destination and the opportunities in Kisumu and the region and easier travel and communications connections available.
“The arrival of SafariLink to Kisumu airspace should be seen as offering a welcome relief to travellers who contribute to the general economic well-being of the region. This am sure is going to come with stabilization of the pricing regime in the industry which has been very erratic as well as spreading flight durations evenly through the day, ” County Minister of Transport Thomas Ondijo is quoted as saying.
