Kisumu Community learns Digital Marketing Skills #DigifyBytes

Last week was a good one for marketers in the lakeside city of Kisumu. Unlike their counterparts in Nairobi who have these opportunities availed to them from different corporate entities, the Kisumu folks always manage to fumble along and learn digital marketing tricks and tips on their own or through available online channels.

Google Africa in collaboration with Livity Africa brought a free digital marketing training course at LakeHub on the Tuesday 10th May and Wednesday 11th May, 2016.

Digify Bytes is an intensive  training experience delivered by young digital professionals, aimed at giving thousands of learners and job-seekers a short, sharp shot of digital skills. The course curriculum covers an overview of digital marketing and digital strategy, which can be offered over a one or two-day period.

This training is for anyone on social media; from teenagers to government officials to stay-at-home trying to get their business online.
The training was attended by small business operators who wants to use online media to advertise their businesses, to students and even people in the non-profit world.
